Where do I get my boxes from?
The cheapest way to get your boxes is Home Depot or Lowes. U-Haul has a larger selection for the specialty boxes. Make sure to follow these simple rules to select your boxes:
- New: Please do move your precious items in used boxes. They break easily.
- Good Quality: I am sure there are name brand boxes; I have yet to find a cheaper deal than Home Depot or Lows. Quality may mean a lot of things. Using the appropriate boxes and determining the right size could factor as well. For more specialized boxes, please go to your nearest U-Haul. They also carry a variety of boxes that may not be available at Home Depot.
- Inexpensive: Do not pay $5-$15 per box. Go to Home Depot and Lowes. They are convenient and inexpensive.
